Looking for a solution (macro?) which can convert a date from cyymmdd format (e.g.today,21st April, is 1040421) to a standard Excel date format?

Either go into date option and use the pre-installed options [including / - : as separators] or once in date, scroll down to custom where you can make your own version up. Don't know if you can get "st" "nd" "rd" or "th" though after the day number
This could be very hard. For the benifit of most people, those who don't know the cyymmdd system, the c stands for centuary, where 0yy is 19yy, 1yy is 20yy and so on.
However this could be quite hard in excel, i don't think it supports it. I am by no means brilliant at macros, but as far as i know you can't take part of a cell, it might be possible, but it would probably be worth looking into that on a professional computer site. You would need to take the c part out, convert it to 19/20/whatever, and then add the next two numbers to that, then take the next two for the month and the next two for the date. Good luck i'm afraid is all i can say...
