nintendo ds 'wireless'

Ok here's my problem.

I am tryin to get my DS to connect to my wireless router, when i search for an acess point it usually finds 2 one of which is clearly mine. But next to my router name there is a grey padlock and if i select it i get the message

'the access points security settings are not supported by the nintendo ds'

any ideas what the problem is and how i can solve it?

i think you have to input your password first before you can use it, its been a while since i set mine up but you need to input your wi-fi security code first then you caan connect to it
