Can someone please give me an idiots guide on how to password protect a Word document?

Sorry for the wrong choice of category before people abuse me LOL :-)

Sorry, I don't know the answer to this question, I felt bad because there were no answers :)
Go to :
FILE
SAVE AS
TOOLS (top rght hand corner)
GENERAL OPTIONS
then at bottom of this box
PASSWORD TO OPEN and PASSWORD TO MODIFY

try keep the password the same so you dont forget it!

I find it quite easy to go to the tool bar and pick 'tools' and then 'options'....you'll be faced with a window with about 8 tabs. Towards the back there is a security tab and you can have a password to open and a password to modify.
