When I'm typing an e-mail, the default font used is Arial, size 10. I often have to draft lengthy e-mails for work which I like to set out nicely so it's easier to read by spacing out paragraphs and using bullet points and numbering etc. However, when I send the e-mail, all this formatting goes to pot and the paragraphs all bunch up together, the font changes to Times New Roman and the bullet points and numbering often disappear. Can I do anything about this? (I don't have an IT dept I can ask about this; we use external IT support people who take forever to get back to you.)

In Outlook 2000 Tools > Options... > Mail Format tab ensure you use HTML as the message format and that Fonts... use your Fonts (Arial) and the Always use my Fonts bullet point is selected.

Thanks j2, it seems to have worked. I had to de-select the 'use Microsoft Word to edit e mail messages' option though to do this (we're meant to have this option selected for some reason) but it seems to be ok.
