Is it possible to connect an external keyboard to a laptop? If so, how?

Ditto a printer.

Any tips received with humble gratitude.

Any usb plug and play keyboard should work - what laptop is it?

There should be a socket at the back of the laptop that connects to your printer cable.

bekka, see above. the usb ports are occupied by (a) my mouse and (b) the broadband plugin. can i get an adaptor to give me more usb capacity? also, the keyboard i have will not plug into the back of the laptop. can i get an adaptor for that?
I tried a 4 port one on an older IBM...it wouldn't work!!

Eventually bought a card bus adapter that suits fine.

Never owned a Toshiba so not much help i'm afraid :(

Do a search for a Toshiba USB 2.0 mini 4-port hub.

Just done a quick search...not over sure but this may do the trick.

Check out the Tech Specs tab for this first...also their returns policy if it doesn't work with your laptop.

Just checked your other post...OE not responding and links not working.

It may be best to figure out what's blocking one by one.

Firstly try pressing down the SHIFT or the CTRL key as you click on the links see if it helps.
Sorry...wrong thread...woops...apologies...brain can't be very well today!!! :( :(
