Network blocked my mobile phone

i found an 02 sim card in my local chip shop of all places and foolishly put it in my mobile phone for a nose and discovered it had 3 quid on it so decided to use it until the cred ran out,anyway the next day i check my phone an its sayin sim registration failed so i assume 02 has barred my phone through this damn sim card as i cant use my original sim in it neitha. any ideas how i get my phone unblocked and how i explain myself?

Rojash the sim had no contacts on it so i couldnt get in touch with any1 and no1 phoned it when it was in my phone so dont dare call me a thief when u dnt even know me,it was a sim card ffs if u found it on the floor im sure u wud of done the same as me Mr Innocent!!!

I think that the fact that you decided to use the �3 of credit on the sim card, indicates that you intendede to permanantly deprive the owner of the sim card of their credit. This by definition does make you a thief. You could have handed in the sim card to the chip shop or the police. You could have contacted O2 and told them that you have found this sim.
If you want to get the phone unblocked ring your phone company - explain that your phone is locked, and see if they can help. If you are asked to explain further you will have to explain what happened.

Surely they can't block your phone, how do they know which phone the sim was put into? I can't imagine they would block a phone over a sim with �3 on it!

Have you tried your old sim back in the phone?

ok tubeway im a thief lock me up an throw away the bloody key eh happy now! elo cheekychops i avent a clue how they av managed to switch my phone off but i presume they can do it via the sim card if its actually in the phone which this 1 was,anyhow ive still got the box and reciept to my phone so im sure i wont av much bother explaining what happened and if the 02 operator starts 2 be a pain i will just tell him/her i will switch networks and neva use their service again! this always gives them a kick up the ass and they suddenly start bein nice lol

I have not got a problem with you being a thief - It is just that you took offence when rojash called you a thief, although you obviously are.

My guess is the sim card was from a stolen phone. The original thief dumped the sim card.

The phone was reported stolen - sim card and phone blocked.
