Just got this reply to the question I asked in December. Thought I would re post it here for all those interested.

You can purchase these TV's from www.aviproducts.com They are the people that make the flip down TV for Magnet and MFI and it's about a �100 cheaper at �399 if you buy it from them. David Rees Wed 26/5/2004

MFI - am not surprised. My personal experience is that they are serious rip-off merchants. Spent a fortune on a new kitchen from them and within a year had problems with doors "peeling". Duly reported the problem last year and told by Manager of the Bury St Edmunds store that they were changing supplier so could not get replacement doors until after Christmas. Fine. Waited, waited and now I find that the telephone is put down on me because she cannot find my details, off of which were given to her last year and she also doubts that the new suppliers doors will not suit anyway! How many folks can afford to throw away �16,000 on a kitchen which doesn't even last one year.......my advice to all consumers is STAY AWAY FROM MFI especially the Bury St Edmunds store and you want to maintain your sanity and deal with folks who think that customers are important and not just "cash cows".
