HD Audio Cpl Wrong Driver Version???

Im on windows vista home basic and recently i updated somethin called CXT-MODEMS-HD AUDIO SOFT DATA FAX MODEM WITH SMART CP,from windows update by mistake as it wos only an optional update and i dnt normally say yes to these,anyway now when i switch my laptop a warning box appears on the main menu,it says HD AUDIO CPL-WRONG DRIVER VERSION! does anyone know what this is and how i sort it out please?
