Help. Had my ipod for a week now all working okay. Got back from my run tonight (nikeplus) all working okay timed the run, with music, etc.
Now I can't get any music out of it. The earphones are working and connected ok but the songs aren't playing - not even counting down on the bar. Any ideas. Apple help is not much help!! All ideas gratefully received

Hi still gettin to grips with my ipod so prob not the best advisor (sure some clever clogs will help you further!) but I do remember that my nano was playing up a bit so I restored the factory settings on i-tunes (when you plug i-pod in, it's the "button" on opening page so to speak). Though I did the mistake of deleting all of my songs by doing this (luckily i'd only imported from cds so didn't cost me anything!). so burn your tracks onto a disc first so if it wipes your i-pod as I think it will, you can re-install the songs. hope this helps
I had a look in the apple discussion forum and found this. Sounds like your problem.

Try adding a new song to your iTunes on your computer. Then connect your iPod to see if your iPod updates. Then try your iPod for the new song and your other ones.

Thanks for all your help. I did finally manage to reset it by pressing the centre and menu button for six seconds as per the instruction manual but it did take five or six attempts. Some functions still don't seem to be working. I have no voice feedback although it is switched on. As a warning to all you nike+ers I think the problem occurred when I finished my run and pressed the menu button and I must have inadvertently pressed the centre button at the same time (i.e. reset!) but having not held it for six seconds, it through a wobbly so to speak. The moral of the story is be very precise when pressing your buttons!
