im like that.....i only buy from like amazon, or high street stores internet sites etc.......

but i know im just being paranoid.....some people are just there trying to earn a living, im just so cynical.....
I am worried about identity theft, but it would likely take place with big sites as small, a phishing tool would pick up the info.
I keep one step ahead of identity theives by regularly dying my hair a different colour.
For any online financial transactions, banking etc, I always boot my PC from a standalone Linux CD. I think this is about as secure as it is possible to be.

You could always sign up to PayPal, that way you are not giving out your CC details.

Failing that look for the padlock sign, that means you are on a secure site.
I have registered with Google Checkout. You register your credit card with them.

Then if you want to buy something from a web site that is registered with Google Checkout you dont have to give THEM your credit card details, they just bill Google Checkout.

The web site you buy off never get to know your CC details and you dont have to type it in again.

Booting from a standalone Linux CD leaves you more vulnerable to any attacks since it lacks the BRS port protection offered by Windows. You should expect your financial transactions to be compromised and should contact your bank immediately. Have you checked all of your credit card and bank statements, whiffey?
