help me with my Siemens SL55 mobile!

i recently obtained a second hand phone (cheers buttons!) which runs like new but we're having a slight problem. when i set up the audio for the phone - i set all the ringers (inc messages and alarms etc) to high. but when i receive a message - the sound is much lower. and the ringer also isn't as high as the preview when you set it. can anyone help? thanks

na - i've already arranged another wee pressie - sack mcd's! anyway i've discovered another thing - it seems that both the ringer and the message tone are ascending when i set them to being loud. help!?

Go - menu - profiles - set noisy enviroment.

it's set to noisy environment already - any more ideas?

I would cancel all ringers except group calls and try that first

didn't really understand that suggestion rinky?? i have come to another conclusion - each tone is definitely ascending rather than a continous loud noise (which is particularly annoying as the message tone doesn't last long enough to reach its peak) is there possibly a section where you can over-ride all tones to be ascending? thanks x
