Hi my lovely lil phone died on me finally. Have had number for years and don't want to change it; if I buy an unlocked phone I know my simcard will work; what if I buy a locked phone?? What are these "unlocking" services on offer for a few quid so I can use my sim card.

If you buy a new phone with the same network you wont need it unlocked. Saved phone numbers will transfer if they were saved to the sim but not f they were saved to the phone memory. Worth making a note of phone numbers on a computer file.
