Receicing eamils that are not our full email address

Why/how am I getting emails when they are not even addressed correctly..like if my email was [email protected]. I am getting all sorts befor the @ symbol

please help me...I get about 300 a day ..No joke & my limit to ban is full. TIA

Unlucky but you appear to be on a spammer's BCC list. A spammer's list is very valuable and they do not like to share them, so they choose one to address the email to and hide the rest in the BCC part.

Not much you can do unfortunately apart from wait for the spammer to stop.

could this have been set up by the compertition ??? is there no way of stopping it at all.??

Nothing you can do.

Hotmail's spam system (well, entire system) is famously terrible.

I recommend you switch to Gmail.
