Hi guys,
has anyone had trouble with their freeview reception
lately, mine has been breaking up for a few days now,
but not all the channels just some of them, also i have
awful reception on the t.v with the anologue trasmissions, one night it was the BBC channels the next night it was ITV.

It seemed to me that certain weather conditions affected them. I bought a decent digital aerial but no change, so I rang a hot-line number . They told me that the strength of the digital signal is only running at between 70-85% until area switchover. So it looks like you and I will have to grin and bear it. Sorry.

One place you can check is the BBC's engineering section. They sometimes switch transmitters to low power whilst they do work on the mast. Due to the forthcoming switchover to digital tv there will probably be a lot of this over the next few years.
