AVG 7.5 Internet protection

It won't update.
I click on the update button, it opens to window but then straight away closes it again.
Somehow the update process may have been blocked.
I don't know how the hell this has happened, i don't want to re-install AVG.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Clive.

But for some reason, Update manager is not displayed.

Its not even displaying in the components list.

If you've still got the AVG 7.5 installation program on your PC, run it again. It will detect that the program is already installed and offer you the option to 'repair installation'. Choosing it should fix your problem.
