When you received the initial offer (whilst you were driving) you should have said 'No thanks, I'll think about it and get back to you'.

How long after the phone call was it before you changed your mind?
you should have just put the phone down on them - be as bloody pig ignorant as they are. is it with orange? did you ring orange or the compant? Try ringing orange 0 there is a cooling off period. Write all numbers down and time and date when you called them. Speak to orange because they will try and sort it out for you. The compant will lose their commission if you send the phone back. Tell orange you were bullied into it. If you get no joy then contact trading standards and citizens advice bureau and get info. THERE IS ALWAYS A COOLING OFF PERIOD.
The cooling off period for distance selling (ie via mail order, fax, phone, internet) is 7 days. Did you tell them you didn't want the phone/contract within this timescale?
...plus you shouldnt be using a phone whilst driving stephen...tut tut
hands free, ring any bells spaced??
does it make a difference? Being a fleet manager I know that using any type of speaking device in the car is a distraction, as is eating or reading a map.

Lets not go there eh Gina.

Stephen were you on hadsfree??
