What is your oeprating system and what internet explorer is it?
Have you got an error log you could send me, EG: C:\windows\IE5 Error Log.txt
If you are using IE6 and have downloaded this week's Windows XP Update you will be one of many experiencing the negative effects of the IE6 Security Update (KB942615).

Your choice is to uninstall that Update or to use another Internet Browser.
wickedtart....I also have had probs over the last few days with IE.....I posted about it last night.....Someone gave me a link to Firefox....so I'm also using that too.

Kempie, when I logged off a new nights back, I did get a message that said....my PC needed to update....1 of 7 something like that.....hadn't realised until you said that about the Updates. I just check the button and leave my PC to update then shutdown.
Seem to be lots of problems with IE6 after the latest updates. I keep getting crashes and memory exception errors - Microsoft Updates at their best!. Is this an insidious way to get us to move to IE7 (which I don't want just now)?

I don't want to do a system restore back to last Monday but may have to!
If you wish to persist with IE6 then a System Restore is not necessary to remove the Update - this is the procedure...

 Control Panel
 Add or Remove Programs
 Ensure "Show updates" is ticked
 Windows XP - Software Updates
Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 6 for Windows XP (KB942615)
 Remove
Thanks kempie. Just trying that now - quite a few programs seem to depend on it? (Probably just because they have been installed since the update?).

Will see if the error messages stop.

I've not gone to IE7 because there were problems with printouts coming out 'tiny' - is this fixed now?
