I would like it to be able to play recient games, like COD4, and games like that...
Also, will this computer really be able to be transported all over my house while staying connected to my wireless router?
If you know of a better laptop around 300 - 350 that you think would meet my needs, then please send me a link.
Thanks in advance.

Regarding wireless connectivity - that is nothing to do with the quality and spec of the laptop, but is more dependent on the router.
My router is in the loft, and I can connect to the internet all over the house, from the bottom of my garden and from my neighbour's house.
If you are playing proper 'gamers games' then a high spec desk top is more suited to your needs - the graphics card will be far superior for a start.

STOP STOP STOP
*PLEASE* do not go with either of these if you intend to even look at COD4, you will need a decent graphics chipset NOT an onboard or shared one, also you want to ideally look at 2 gig of RAM as 1 gig no longer ensures smooth gameplay or decent loading times. I nkow money is always an issue with these things but streth as much as you can, this is a decent gaming laptop if you can afford it:
