Hi, I have just purchased a new camera - Cannon Powershot. When I try to attach to email the message comes up to say they are too large to send. Hoe do I make the images smaller to attach to an email. Thanks in advance. A

Assuming your pics are on your PC anyway, making them smaller for email is an option given in the side bar of the folder you have them in.
If your Canon doesn't have its own software download IrfanView. This is a very simple (and free) program that many people use.

Then select Image, the Resize from the drop down menu. Select either 640 x 480 pixels or 800 x 600 pixels. These are both perfect sizes for emails.
go to my pictures highlight the pics you want to email. down the side you will see option to email this file click this and your email will open also attaching pics that are higlighted also reducing size for email. I find this best and easiest way to email pics
Download Picasa2 from Google it will automatically reduce the size of your photos for emailing. You can also edit and add effects. It's a brilliant little program.
