Putting captions on photos on disc through Vista & splitting photos into scenes
Hi, I want to store all the photos from my laptop to a DVD disc sp they can be played over TV in future.
I know how to get the pics to the disc but how do I add a caption (so for example the date and place of photo), that will show up on TV screen during playback?
I have tried 'adding caption' but this does not show up on screen during playback.
Also I have tagged my pics on the Vista photo gallery (eg holiday 2007, Christmas 2007). Can I transfer these sections into 'scenes or 'chapters' onto a DVD disc so that when I playback, there will be an option for scenes eg scene 1 - holiday 2007 showing only the photos stored under that tag, then scene 2 for Chrismas 2007 etc.
TIA

Don't know much about Vista but in XP you will have Windows Movie Maker which enables you to create a simple slideshow with or without captions music etc..
You can then save the project as an avi file and burn to DVD usinfg Sothink DVD maker ( which is free ). You will probably need to play around with the various settings to get the best picture quality.
