Hi, i just purchased a new epson all in one printer/copy/scanner, the problem i am having is that when i go to install the drivers with the cd provided it will only install the scanner/copier drivers and not the printer drivers, it will not even reckonise it as a printer and say's its not connected, i have tried downloading new drivers from epson, using a different USB port and a different lead. i can get the scanner to work fine, just not the printer. I was wondering if this was a Vista problem or if any more knowledgeable member could suggest another approach. I am running Vista ultimate, and the printer is a epson DX8450 if this helps.. This is the second printer i have tried, i took the last one back with the same problem thinking that the printer was U/S, I find it quite hard to believe that 2 identical printers in 3 days would have the same fault
Many thanks for your quick reply, i have tried that option previously, good link though did not find that on their site, your second option looks like the next route... cheers,
