displaying what i'm listening to in media player on msn

Right bit of a long one but here goes!

When i used to play a song in media player, my personal message on msn messenger would change so others could see what i'm listening to. now it doesn't.

the tick is next to the little down arrow to on msn page and i cannot understand what i've done to stop displaying what i'm playing.

Any ideas? thanks all

Are you using Windows Media Player to play music? If so the click "TOOLS" then "PLUG INS" at the top of media player. Make sure "MSN Messenger Plug In" is listed there and if so make sure it is ticked. Keep me informed. Cheers.
