How should I connect my TV, Set top box, DVD player and Video recorder together? The TV has two SCART sockets. What else do I need?

I would guess Aerial to Set top box

Set top box to Video

Video to DVD

DVD to TV

Alteratively, as I am not sure that will work but am this.

As above, but video to TV, and DVD in a stand alone arrangement to the socket on the TV.
aerial to set top, set top to video, video to tv.
dvd to tv.
use scart leads for all the joins also an co-ax for the video to tv as well as scart.
scart leads from the pound shop seem to be work well enough, no need to lash out a tenner for the expensive ones.

then you can video things with no hassle of changing leads arround, and you can see on the tv that you've got the right channel when videoing..
Try using this connection wizard pictures somtimes help with these things
