Open the file in excel then save as a web page.

rather than give you the answer, here's what you need to do to find it You browser, by default knows how to take web language(stuff which has tags such as 
 in it) and interpret it. This is because it ends in htm or html etc etc. An excel file may end in .xls You need to let your browser know that if it encounters one of these, it should 'associate' the 'file' with the correct program. (note the quotes)
