how do i connect my xbox360 (wired)

can anyone explain how i can connect my 360 to my pc with wires as i dont have a wireless connection and at the moment i have to connect one at a time i cant figure out how to have both on at the same time!?! :(

You need to connect your 360 to a router via an Ethernet cable. if you only have a modem running into your PC via USB and no slot for an ethernet cable then you can try connecting your 360 to an empty ethernet socket on your PC and set it up as a network.

The only problem is that you'll need to have your PC on if you want to use Xbox Live.
