i-phone and Livebox problems
5 Answers
Daughters boyfriend is trying to use his new i-phone at our house where we have a wireless orange Livebox. The phone is asking for a password to connect to the locked WiFi. Have tried putting in the (very long!) WEP key for the livebox several times, checking uppercase, numbers etc very carefully but can't get it to connect. Is there anything else I should be trying? Frustrating.......

Been looking on the apple forums and found several people with similar difficulties so have got one or two things to try the next time the boyfriend appears. After reading through the forums I'm glad I don't have an i-phone myself!! Thanks for the help fo3nix.
We had problems linking my dad's nokia to the live box, then i remembered that when pairing something new up to the Livebox you need to press the button on the livebox to make the red light flash, it only stays on for a short time so i found it best to put in the WEP (prob the number on the bottom of the live box) then press the the button (on ours its number 1) then connect the phone up.
hope that helps
