3310 Nokia problem

My friend has a Nokia 3310 and when she texts me I can't reply directly, my phone said "Number not in use". The problem still persists even though I have a new phone now, Whats up with her phone?

You should be able to text from/to any mobile phone. P'raps you have an incorrest mobile number,or are you entering the code as well?

Lardy i had the same prob with replyin to my cousin, its annoyin coz u'd write the whole msg and then be told incorrect number! She changed her phone tho and the prob went but suddenly i got it with another number?! wot phone have u got? iv got a sagem myv65
