Virgin Media spam folder

Can anyone help - I have set my Virgin Media webmail options to keep spam emails in my webmail spam folder fro 7 days (as I suspect some genuine messages are being incorrectly identified as spam, which under Virgin Media policy is deleted unless you choose another option for it)
The problem is when I log into my webmail there is no spam folder. As I have only recently set up the option do I need to wait a while and the spam folder will evenyually appear or do I need to do something else? VM help pages aren't much use.
