Terms and conditions associated with Internet free trials
When a firm offers a free trial of its services as part of the process, which the prospective client has to tick /agree acceptance of the free trial terms and condions; is the free trial terms and conditions legally binding, with respect to the client having to notify the service provider within a specified time if they wish to continue or not.
We have had a demand for a full year subscription from such a provider, because we failed to notify them within their specified time.
Can they do this and is it legally binding.
