Help! I have bought my husband an ipod of ebay and its from america. Will it work here or do I have to buy an adapter?

Apart from a UK (3 pin)/US (2 pin) power adapter it should be fine.

You don't even need a 3-pin adaptor. You can use a (figure of 8) power lead, like the sort that goes into a cassette player or video. Or just by plugging the iPod into the computer via the Firewire or USB-2 lead will charge it.

USA ipods are considerably cheaper and USA ebayers have cottoned on to this fact.trouble is they mark up the ipods by so much,the price is almost as dear as a uk one so the saving coupled with the risk of ebay isnt worth it in my opinion but i hope 'emmagreeny' receives hers no problems

I got my ipod within 3 days.It was alot cheaper until the tax man got hold of it and put it up by �40.00. If I could do it again I would have bought of amazon �275.00
