The equivalent of a portable TV size- are they 14"? But flat! Basically I am moving soon and I don't want to take anything too heavy with me. So, no bulky TVs, but I do want a TV that I can lift etc- so, a small flat screen but pref with 2 scarts so I can plug in the DVD recorder and VHS?!
make certain it's digital .... the link supplied by ethel
only mentions pal analogue
it should be freeview at that price .... but I'm not so sure it is - they usually include it in the spec
(certainly worth a phonecall before spending those hard earned pennies)
there are lots around .... but there are also lots of analogue only also
I've got one but its an LCD. Have a look on the Argos website and you'll see what I mean. Its ok but if its not a exactly the right angle the picture can go dark.
never even considered argos
scarlet - you saiD 14" .... how about 15 - or 17 or even 19
I've got a 19" monitor .... and it's really not very heavy (I know I'm a big ruffty tuffty bloke - but as a modern man .... I have no qualms bout letting my little lady do the heavy lifting - and she throws ours round - no problem ;-)
seriously ... our 32" is possibly made out of lead - but my 19" monitor .... and the ones we have at work are incredibly light (LG 19&17")
if you look in comet and have a lift (so long as you don't head for he door!!!).
15" is very small for a main TV - esp if you do much viewing
... just a thought
Thanks! I only want a small one cos I will be living in one room in a shared house, with also my PC, printer, scanner, DVD recorder and VHS stuffed in there, somehow! It won't be in a big sitting room or anything- small is fine!
there is an Orbit 9" machine,it has digital tuner and DVD player,it can also record TV to a usb hard drive supplier is Allcam and so far its been very satisfactory,it is however around 150
