it actually depends on what you look for on a phone. my husband bought one the weekend they came out and took it back a week later. he was disappointed that he could not bluetooth files to and from other phones, it has a great camera but it does not have a video feature in it. you can not forward text messages without so much hassle but the ipod is great. he just thought it wasnt worth the monry plus the minimum contract of �35 per month. but that doesnt mean you wont like it.

Thanks for the answers, the no video part is off putting, I am more interested in the ipod feature though, will have to think about it I suppose, wish it was on the 3 network which I am on, wonder if it will be one day??

My guy has got one and he just loves it. its all about touch and drag and it plays music loud with out ear phones. pics are great and it holds alot. Text is good too, you see what you are replying to on the same screen.

Hiya, you most likely have already been here, but here is a link to the apple website talking about the iphone. The iphone has many great new features now, and it looks so awesome!

I learnt these are all the NEW features in all newly shipped iphones, they might help you make your decision:

ability to play webclips,
find and show your location on the iphone map,
customize your home screens (you can have up to 9!)
SMS multiple people at once,
Ability to use chapters, subtitles and different languages in films.
and it now supports lyrics.

So there ya go, I don't have one myself, but if I had the money....... : D
