Some years ago on Tomorrow's World there was a demonstration of a flame/ heat retardent product. An egg was sprayed with a thin coat of whatever, then subjected to a blow lamp for many seconds. The egg was cracked open, and both the shell and the egg were cold and uncooked. Does anybody remember this and know what happened to the product? Same programme, this time a noise-reducing blanket. It was placed over something noisy - hi-fi or something - and the sound virtually disappeared. Anyone remeber that as well?
