How do I change my email address on Hotmail please

You need to set up a new one, as I don't believe you can change existing ones.

My husband set up the existing one in his name but he also has one with Virgin, so I am going to use Hotmail with my name on it. He is out at the moment and I wanted to do it myself. Can you explain to me how to set up a new one

Certainly. Just pop along to http://www.hotmail.co.uk and there is a button to click which says "sign up". It's then just a case of following the instructions that the screen will guide you through.

I don't think you "cancel" one as such. It's more a case of just leave it and don't use it any more.
