Windows Vista and the Internet

I have a new laptop with Windows Vista pre-installed. My other laptop with Windows XP and my son's Wii connection are all fine when using the wireless ISP but my one keeps crashing and then saying no connection. Can anyone help as it is driving me crazy. It definitely is not my ISP because the other two work at the same time and mine will say no connection.

have you set up your network connections on your new one ie encryption key (if required)etc
