Wireless Ipod

Hi

I have an ipod touch that has wifi.
I also have sky broadband wireless.
When i try to connect my ipod to wireless sky it asks for a password.
For the life of me i dont know what it is! Sky gave me a card with network key ect on it, but this isnt the password. Can anyone help me?

Perhaps it says WEP or WPA on the card?

(I don't use Sky.)

perhaps it only works with certian settings, for example i had to change my router from WPA to WEP to get our DS's to conect to the wifi service.

souldrive: DS does only understand WEP. However, iPhone knows about WPA too, so it shouldn't be that.

It is a bit hazy with some of the other stuff (radius servers, etc.), but the questioner is unlikely to be using that.

I tried to type the info on the card as the password, and it didnt work :(

I dont know what a radius server is...

Funny think is that my Ipod can find two sky networks, so maybe next door has it too

Yea, you will have to get it precisely right.

Go into your wireless settings, click your wireless signal's name (assuming you know it, on the card perhaps?), and then enter the password, precisely the same -- capitals, numbers, etc. All perfectly the same.

If your network doesn't appear in the list, then choose to add another network and enter your network's name perfectly (still remembering capitals etc.), following by choosing security (choose WEP or WPA, whichever it is), then click back and enter the password.

yes.I did it. Turns out u need to press the caps button for every letter on an iPod! I'm replying to u on my iPod now. Thanks eberyome
