Can anyone help? My internet connection disengages when my pc is left idle for a short amount of time.Is there any way I can adjust that time?

Right click Internet Explorer icon, then (all left clicks) "connections", "settings". In "dial up settings", "advanced". Adjust "disconnect if idle for" time.
