It depends on what game/s you want to play with your friends.

thatll be Unreal tournament, Halo, FIFA2004 and tiger woods golf 2004. thanks for your help
It WOULD be 3 games I have little or no experience of ,wouldn't it??!! The only one of those 3 that I own is UT. I made a listen server as a test thus :- In multiplayer menu select "Start new multiplayer game" This brings up another menu.Set it all up as you want it...(maps etc)...give the server a name (and password seeing as you want it private). If you make it a dedicated server you'll need another PC on your LAN to play on it.(But it'll be a faster server) You'll need to tell your buddies your IP and port address... www.whatismyip.com ....not sure what default port is on UT.I suspect it might be 7777 If you are well off you could rent a private server from somewhere like Jolt but that can be anywhere between 25 - 50 a month and upwards....But you will be able to rotate the game the server is running between, say,UT,Halo and Fifa. It isn't simple to run a server and I don't know a great deal about it but I'm willing to help a fellow gamer in any way I can. If you use MSN messenger you can add me on [email protected] and we can try to set you up a server. Come on people. There must be other gamers out there with experience of playing these games on a private server!!
I obviously can't count...there are 4 games in your list not 3 :(......And I dont have Halo either. :S
simply create your own server locked with a password that both you and your friend(s) know then its exclusive access for you and yours only
