Question Author
Yes thats the one loooby
hi again baby02,

I'm on stop the clock and it suits me fine.

I'm not sure if you've read much up on it, but this is how it works:-

you pay for the first 3 minutes of any call during the evening after 7pm and weekends, then you have the next 57 minutes free as long as you don't hang up or lose connection.
its a good tarrif if you talk a lot during the evening and weekend but not much good if you only talk for a few minutes at a time or like to make lots of calls during the day.
i got a bundle of 250 texts in my deal aswell, so all in all im very happy with stop the clock.

hope this has helped.

Hi Loooby thats a great help ty do u tend to get cut off duiring stop the clock calls? vodafone are offering me a Nokia N95 8gb phone with 200 mins and 500 texts for 15 for 9 months then 30 for 3 months which seems decent enough.
that sounds a fair deal baby02, but try and get them down a bit cheaper if you can, afterall theyre after your custom arent they?
when do you think you make the most calls? because if its in the evening, you probably wouldnt need 200 mins if you take advantage of s.t.c, because you get a lot of chat, 60 mins worth for just 3 mins off your allowance lol
if, they dont offer you a better deal, and if you think 200 mins maybe too many, you could look at the cheaper tarriffs offering less minutes and texts and opt for that one?
but its up to you, as you what you think you will use a month and what you think you can afford a month.
i just wouldnt want you to be tied to a 12 month agreement dishing out 30 a month and you feel youre throwing your money away.
ive used my s.t.c for many a long phone call at night, and i rarely get cut off.
let me know what you decide to do baby :o)
oops sorry baby, i misread your message, i was thinking you were paying 15 for 3 months then 30 for 9 months.
so at 225 a year, it works out at 18.75 a month all in all. sooo, looking at it that way around, it does look a reasonable offer doesnt it, plus youve got yourself a nice new phone.
ive just had a nokia 6300 and its lovely.
