Looked for crumbs etc, but have taken the advice of Postdog, rojash and monkeyeyes and went out and bought a new keyboard.
Attached it and to my horror couldn't connect to broadband. That's OK now though.
Received aletter from a friend about viruses and panicked a bit , thought I had one!!!!
Just wish I was more computer literate.
