Album covers visible in I-tunes but not on Ipod?

As above, some of my album covers are visible in Itunes but just show as blank squares on my ipod(New Ipod nano).
Does anyone know why this would be? I have had some album covers which were visible and then have disappeared too from my ipod.

The album art feature doesn't work perfectly.

Is the album art from iTunes? If so, it should work fine. Usually it's just artwork you've dragged in yourself that causes issues.

Try this:

Find an album with artwork that shows in iTunes but not iPod. In iTunes, right-click a song and click Get Info. Drag the artwork out onto your desktop from there. Then, highlight all songs in that album and choose Get Info again. Now, drag the artwork into the little box for artwork there. Then click ok. After a few seconds of adding artwork to all files, it should work.

Sync iPod and try it out.

yes the art is from itunes and have also tried manually adding an artwork myself.
