Google Insurance Company

I am an A-Level student, studying business. For one of my assignments, I am researching into Google starting their own insurance company for computers, and I was wondering a couple of things:
Firstly, what do people think of this idea? Would it be viable, and could it work well?
Secondly, I was wondering what type of people would use this service? For example, would someone who travels with their laptop be more likely to insure their computer, than a homeowner would be more likely to insure their computer, if it is only used at home, e.g. for things like burglaries, or breakages?
Any other information that could be useful to this would be greatly appreciated, as well as some answers to this question if possible.
