NOKIA 7600 PHONE TO PC

Have just received new phone - however; trying to get PC and Phone together but nokia website say that the Nokia PC Suite compatibility is with windows 2000 or XP. I have windows ME. Is there something I can do so that I can make my ME compatible with 2000 or XP?

Have you tried installing it anyway? The only difference is XP is all Plug&Pray, so USB & COM ports don't need device-specific drivers.

Right, I've downloaded the PC Suite, but its asking about connectivity. I've tried USB (It asks me which com port 1-20) unsure of which one to select. I've tried infared and bluetooth to try and get up and running but still not working. It is definately on my computer as I have the icon on my desktop and the whole 'suite' ready to use, but cannot connect phone. Is it anything to do with zonealarm or spybot I have installed?
