arrgghh crap!

hi, my dog jumped on my open laptop and now my toolbar is permanently at the right hand side rather than along the bottom (windows xp) how can i change it back?

hi bednobs, I think if you click on it you can drag it back to where it belongs.

Is it locked?

Unklock it first... (right-click it and uncheck "Lock the Taskbar")... then
drag it back to the bottom.

Move you mouse over the toolbar, left click and hold then drag the mouse to the bottom of the screen. The toolbar should move when it reaches the bottom of the screen. Hope that helps.
