my mate has asked me to sell her phone for her and asked how much she might get, I checked on e-bay and they range from �60.00 to �2300!! How come? Who would spend that on a phone and why?

Having had a look at ebay I think there is something a bit dodgy going on with the high bid phones. It seems all of the sellers and buyers have very low feedback/selling/buying rates. If I was buying I wouldn't trust them.

Depending on how old the phone is will determine the starting price. If I bought a brand new one on my network it would be �90.00 from an ebay shop.

yer thats what I thought, the high bids have ended on thousands, it seems so strange

There's a scam with this, but I cant remember what is was now - which isn't going to help you very much! It was posted somewhere else on here in the last week or so.

I use eBay for many things, and never had a problem, but I wouldn't go near the mobile phone or laptop section - it's a scammer's paradise.
