my case was opposite, but from that, found out some facts , "empty recycle" function doesn't mean that file is deleted from hard disk, using "undelete" utility comes with norton utility or go to cnet.com and grab one, shareware file. they works pretty cool, unless the file has been over writed. also using some sort of disk security software will delete file permenently. can't not even restore. "clean disk security" does job.
