Sorry, I don't know that much about IE problem-solving because I gave up and switched to Mozilla- it's an open source browser, mail client, etc. If you just want a browser, like IE, you can download Firefox. It's better to not worry about IE's problems, it's not worth it! And you'll get hooked on tabs (they're not drugs, they're the replacement for new windows, so you can have lots of pages open at once in the same browser window). And it's free, as in freedom, and as in you don't have to pay. It's even got a mascot. It's cooler. Link to Mozilla home: http://www.mozilla.org Link to direct Firefox download: http://ftp.eu.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/0 .9.3/FirefoxSetup-0.9.3.exe This is only a suggestion, but it's worthwhile!
How are you closing it/them? Try pressing alt + F4 with the one you *want* to close up front/on top.
