internet explorer ??????????

how come each time i close a window i get a message popping up saying.
"internet explorer has encountered a problem.sorry for the inconvenience...and it says at the bottom..send error report.
how come this is happening???

what version of IE are you all using, if earler than 7 download and install ie7 and install may solve it

If your are using 7 you could try download and installing the beta of ie8 which is now available on the ms site.

BTW when I installed 8 it didn't work, all it done was everytime I clicked on the icon to run it was to put another IE icon on my desktop, which other than filling my desktop up wasn't really that useful!! but after uninstalling everything was fine again.

I have several friends who have installed 8 and it's worked fine.

IE is absolute rubbish download firefox and you will never have a problem again.

They were annoying me also. Why don't you disable the reporting by:

Start
Control panel
System
Advanced
Error reporting
and then tick the box to disable them

Hi Northboy

bring up your new firefox front page and click on "File" then click "import" you will then be looking at a choice of what you wish to bring with you.

If, for example, favs is all you want "untick" the other boxes and click on next, then finish

You will now have one box on your firefox favs click on that and your favs are there.
