Microsoft Outlook Problem

Hi when i clic send/recieve it can send but it cant recieve, the progress bar stays blank then an error message comes up. It has happened before but it fixed its self in a couple of days, but i really need 2 check for an important e-mail. Does any one have any ideas to fix it???

who is your email provider? you may be able to go to their website and check it online.

If its Onetel contact log into your account & send an email.I've had this problem two or three times with them,they come back saying nothing wrong,but hey presto things get OK again.
Another option got to http://mail2web.com/ enter your email address and password.There's no registration required to use the site and its accessible from any computer.
