all wirless networks i connect to say limited or no connectivity

Hello everyone,
My acer 3620 laptop is having troubles with its network.I am trying to connect to my friends network(i have permission) and it says limited or no connectivity.I have tried to connect to other networks,but they say the same thing.The signal says excelent ,but it will not let me use the internet how do I fix this?

Also, is your wifi enabled on the laptop? On my Acer I have to click the led light next to the headphone sockets - it looks nothing like a light until it is switched on, and you have to press firmly.
